Mushroom Matar Recipe

Mushroom matar is one of the delicious recepies of india and it is greatly liked by every household.To make mushroom matar recipes we need the following ingredients which are easily available in local indian markets.


 So; try  this tasty recipe at your home for great flavor.

Ingredients-
Mushroom                           250g
Green Beans -Cooked          1cup
Crushed Cardamom Seeds   4no.
Cinnamon (Patta) Powder     1pieces
Onion -chopped                   2 no.
Ginger paste                       2tsp
Garlic paste                        2tsp
Tomato                               4no.
Chilli Powder                      2tsp
Coriander Powder               2tbsp
Turmeric Powder                ½tsp
Garam Masala Powder       2tsp
Cashew Nuts paste            ½cup
Coconut Oil                       3tsp
Curry Leaves                     2stalks
Green Chillies                    4no.
Salt to taste                      ½tsp

How to cook it-
  • Before starting cooking rinse mushroom with fresh water and slice it and Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in pan, Saute green cardamons, cinnamon and onion till golden brown. 
  • Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a few minute. 
  • Add chopped tomato, green chillies and curry leaves. Stir it well till oil separates. 
  • Add all the ingredients and stir till for 3 minutes. 
  • Then add the cashew nut paste in one cup of water and mix well add enough salt bring to boil. 
  • Add the green peas and mushrooms and cook till the peas are fully cooked. 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve it hot with whatever you like most roti or rice

Why we grow Mushrooms?

Mushroom in simple language is just fungus which is the God given natural health food for mankind. It is very nutritive and delicious food. Mushrooms are rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. It can form an important ingredient of food for a balance diet.

The major importance of growing mushrooms is as follows:

Milky Mushroom Omlete Recipe- Indian style

Ingredients required for making Mushroom Omelet:

Items-
Eggs -2ps
Sliced Milky Mushroom -2 tblsp
Chopped Onion -1ps
Kashmiri chilli powder -1/2 tsp
Pepper powder -1/4 tsp
Pinch of Turmeric powder 
Coriander leaves
Butter
Salt to taste

Cooking Methods:

Step-1.Lets beat the eggs accordingly along with all the ingredients except butter and
            mushroom.
Step-2.Heat a little of the butter in a pan and add the washed and sliced milky mushrooms.
           Toss in the butter for 2/3 minutes. remove the mushrooms and keep aside.
Step-3.Melt the remaining butter in a non stick pan over a medium flame and add the
           beaten eggs to it.
Step-4.Spread evenly around the pan and sprinkle the mushrooms on top.
Step-5.When one side is cooked, add in coriander leaves and turn. Cook for a minute
Step-6.Remove from the flame and serve hot

Serve as per your Style.

How to Make Mushroom Pakora- Indian Recipes

Ingredients Required for Mushroom Pakora is:


Items-
75 gm Gram Flour
75 gm Button mushrooms
1 Onion-chopped
1/2 cup Curd
1 tsp Chilly powder
1/4 tsp Pepper powder
1/2 tsp Lemon juice
1 flakes grated Garlic
Salt to taste
4-5 tbsp Oil

Now Method to cook it:

1. In a bowl, add the gram flour, curd, chilly powder,pepper, salt and mix well.
2. Grind the onion into paste and add the lime juice,garlic and mix well.
3. Add the onion mixture to the flour batter and mix thoroughly.
4. Refrigerate the batter  for 1-2 hours.
5. Cut off the hard pieces of mushroom and dip the pieces in the batter to even coat the mixture.
6. Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the mushrooms for 2-3 minutes until turns to golden brown in color.
7. Drain the excess oil on the paper towel.
8. Serve hot with sauce or ketchup.
